This policy explains what HostingHunt collects, why it is used, and the choices available to visitors.
Information collected
HostingHunt may process basic technical request data needed to deliver and secure the site, such as timestamps, requested pages, browser information, and IP-derived security signals. Hosting and infrastructure providers may keep their own operational logs.
If you accept optional analytics, the site may use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Microsoft Clarity to understand page use, navigation, interactions, device categories, and performance. These services may use cookies or similar technologies under their own policies. The identifiers are only loaded when configured and after consent.
If you contact us, we process the information you provide so we can answer. If you use the AI advisor, your prompt and limited recent conversation context may be sent to the configured AI service. Do not include passwords, payment data, health information, or other sensitive data.
How information is used

Affiliate links and external sites
Provider links can be affiliate links. A provider or affiliate network may record a referral when you click and may set its own cookies. HostingHunt does not receive your provider account credentials or payment details. See the affiliate disclosure.
Your choices
You can decline optional analytics in the consent notice or reopen Cookie settings from the footer. You can also clear site storage in your browser. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information.
Retention and security
Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, legal obligations, dispute handling, and security. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Children
HostingHunt is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service, vendors, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published.
